Custom-Designed Facility
Commercial dive training, wet welding, and underwater welding are best learned in a professional, realistic worksite environment. Yet all too often, commercial diving schools are makeshift operations occupying deserted piers and broken-down warehouses.

That is not the case at Divers Academy International! From the beginning, we have provided our students with a superb commercial dive training environment. To accommodate our expanding student base and expose them to the latest commercial diving and wet welding operations, we purchased and custom-designed a new modern commercial dive training facility in 2006 outside of Atlantic City, NJ.  

Deep Water Quarry
Our commercial dive training complex includes a 32-acre warm-water, spring-fed, deep water quarry. The quarry offers a safe, realistic open-water worksite environment, and presents outstanding opportunities for commercial dive training, wet welding training, and underwater welding training. By working in open water, students develop the professional and qualitative experience required by prospective employers.

Commercial dive training is performed from a large 115-foot by 40-foot diving barge, custom-designed and built for Divers Academy International. The barge provides 25 dive stations, a retractable welding stage, and a Class II diving bell for mixed gas deep dives.
