Our graduates have gone on to find success in several sectors of commercial diving such as:

• Offshore Diving: This typically deals with commercial divers working in the   production sector of the oil and gas industry, maintaining oil platforms and   building underwater structures.

• Inland/onshore diving: Similar in terms of nature of work to offshore diving,   onshore diving mainly deals with civil engineering work, Bridge Inspection   and repair, cable burial, pile and pier repair.

• Hazmat Diving: Hazmat diving, requiring highly skilled commercial divers,   typically involves repairing damaged pipelines, pollution control work,   underwater welding inside sewers or septic tanks.

• Nuclear Diving: Nuclear diving involves conducting repairs around areas of   radiation hotspots.

• Scientific Diving: This mainly involves the study and testing of underwater   environments for scientific purposes.
